Memories of the Future is an initiative that brings contemporary Brazilian artists from different fields together, to discuss ‘New Heritage Approaches’ from the perspective of their respective artistic backgrounds. In a series of 12 documentaries of 6-10 minutes artists show their production. Through reflecting on their art, the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the working conditions, concepts of heritage and memory, and personal reflections on the future world, diverse perspectives are identified to create a base for new narratives and future memories, giving an alternative to the existing heritage canons.
